Sometimes I wonder if I’ve become a cliche of myself
Living in a delusion of what others label me as
I’ve always been the smart girl,
So I must always get As and go to class
I’ve always been the straight-edge girl,
So I must never get high
I’ve always been the one pushing myself
Despite my insides screaming
At me to stop, slow down, look at what you’re doing to yourself.
Is this all worth it?
